Pink Jeans

It is almost May, it's spring, and it's still pretty cold in NYC.  This jacket quickly became the bare minimum for that night.  I love these jeans to death!  My boyfriend and I went to dinner at a German restaurant in the West Village, and this is what I wore yesterday night.

Leather Shorts

New obsession, LEATHER SHORTS. 

In order to pull off this look for spring and summer, you should definitely feminize it with feminine pieces.  I have a white silk blouse from J.Crew that would tone down the roughness of the leather nicely and either my Jeffrey Campbell wedges or my Ruby Shoe flats would pair perfectly with this look without looking like an 80's band groupie.  A great accessory bag is something red, either a red clutch or a red chain cross body purse.

An Ode to Socks

I love socks.  Bright, colorful, short or tall.  So today, I will dedicate this entry to awesome outfits with socks!  My boyfriend hates it because it reminds him of lazy frat boys in college who go to class in basketball shorts and socks with their sandals.  Well, F-that, I love this look!
